Crenshaw's Emmett Duvall signs with Humboldt State

August 3, 2010 |  8:47 pm

Former Crenshaw standout Emmett Duvall, who helped the Cougars reach the state playoffs last season, has signed with Humboldt State.

Duvall, a 6-foot-6 power forward who was a first-team All-Coliseum League selection, averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and two assists as a senior.

"We are excited about Emmett signing and becoming a cornerstone of our basketball [program] in the next four years," Humboldt State Coach Steve Kinder said in a statement.

Humboldt State finished 22-8 last season and has advanced to the NCAA Division II tournament in nine of the last 10 years.
