Boys’ basketball: Birmingham hires new coach

Nick Hauselman, 37, a former assistant at Lake Balboa Birmingham, has been named the school’s new basketball coach, replacing Jarvis Turner, who resigned to become the coach at Beverly Hills.

Hauselman was an assistant under former Birmingham Coach Al Bennett.
