Baseball: Karkenny gets call from Harvard

Thursday was the first official day college coaches could make phone calls to the class of 2011, other than football and basketball, and Chatsworth All-City outfielder Steven Karkenny received a call from Harvard.

His 4.5 grade-point average and quality hitting skills would seem perfect for Harvard but other schools are expected to join the recruiting battle.
