Shortstop Brandon Martin from Corona Santiago has been selected the most outstanding player of the California Baseball Coaches’ Assn. North-South Series that was held this past weekend at Santa Clara University after helping the South team win two of the three games.

San Gorgonio outfielder Andy Crowley was selected the South team most valuable player.

Santiago could have one of the top teams next season based on the performances of Martin and pitcher Steven Pallares, who also performed well for the South team.
