Baseball: Mike Stanton set to join Florida Marlins
Former Sherman Oaks Notre Dame outfielder Mike Stanton, one of the top prospects in minor-league baseball, is set to join the Florida Marlins and make his major league debut.
He's one of the best athletes to come out of Southern California and was a standout in football, basketball and baseball for the Knights.
He will join the Marlins on Tuesday at age 20.

Congrats on all your hard work in the minors, Mike. I still cannot forget that memorable ending to the Canyon game a few years back with that great throw from Dayne Crist. I'll be buying some cards and looking out for your rookie card!
