Santa Ana Mater Dei and Simi Valley Royal are scoreless after the first inning of their Division 1 semifinal at Blair Field.
Mater Dei got a runner to second in the first off Tyler Abbott. Cory Hahn struck out two in the first inning for Mater Dei.
The winner will play Dana Hills in Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. final in Lake Elsinore.
