Baseball: Glendora wins Division 2 title

June 5, 2010 |  6:37 pm

Glendora turned its hitters loose in the Division 2 final, and they responded with a 10-3 victory over Yucaipa.

Joseph Woodward had two hits. Kyle Layton had a double and two-run triple. John Alexander had a single and RBI double. Brennan Salgado had a triple and single. Adam Plutko threw a complete game.

It was truly a team effort, and now Glendora can make a case with a 27-2-1 record that it's the best team in Southern California.
