Outfielder Austin Wilson of North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake, a Stanford signee who’s one of the most highly regarded players in the Southland, was taken in the 12th round of the amateur draft by the Cardinals.

It will take a lot of money to prevent Wilson from going to Stanford, but the Cardinals have been known to give out big bonuses.
