Golf: Servite’s Cantlay wins Southern Section title

UCLA-bound Patrick Cantlay of Anheim Servite fired a 4-under 68 Monday to win the Southern Section individual golf championship at La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc.

Cantlay scored a four-stroke victory. He has been Southern California’s most dominant golfer the last two seasons. The top 20 golfers advance to the Southern California championships on June 3 in Murrieta.

A score of 77 was the cutoff point Monday.
