Golf: El Camino Real has lead in City Section finals

Woodland Hills El Camino Real has a 13-stroke advantage over Venice after the first of two rounds in the City Section golf championships at Griffith Park’s Harding course. The Conquistadores shot 374.

Senior Chris Ramirez of Reseda Cleveland and sophomore Troix Tonkham from Sherman Oaks CES share the individual lead after shooting 3-under 69. Lurking at 71 is the defending champion, Daniel Slovis of El Camino Real.

The final round is scheduled for Wednesday.
