Football: Muir wins first passing tourney

Pasadena Muir won the first seven-on-seven passing tournament of the season on Saturday, defeating Los Angeles Marshall, 33-31, in overtime in the championship game of the Crescenta Valley-Glendale tournament.

Muir defeated Crescenta Valley in the semifinals, and Marshall defeated Newhall Hart.

Marshall cornerback Gerber Rodriguez had six interceptions Saturday and two on Friday.
