Chase Favreau, a sophomore backup quarterback at Santa Ana Mater Dei, has enrolled at Huntington Beach Edison and will be competing for the starting job, Coach Dave White said.

Favreau was in the mix last summer when Mater Dei was searching for a starting quarterback. USC-bound Max Wittek won the job in the fall.

Favreau will be moving into Edison’s attendance area, according to White.
