Boys’ basketball: Strong field for Fairfax State Preview Classic

The 12-team field for next January’s Fairfax Sate Preview Classic has been finalized, and there aren’t any weak teams.

The field includes Etiwanda, Fairfax, Los Angeles Loyola, Gardena Serra, Los Angeles Price, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake, La Canada, Los Angeles Crenshaw, Los Angeles Windward, Torrey Pines, Santa Monica and Oceanside El Camino.

Games will be played on Jan. 29 at Fairfax. Matchups will be announced later.

Also in the one-day tournament are girls’ teams from North Torrance and LACES.
