Boys' basketball: Jerry Simon is new coach at Marina
Jerry Simon, who once scored 69 points for Los Angeles Marshall, has been hired as the boys' basketball coach at Huntington Beach Marina.
Simon was the City Section 3-A player of the year in 1986 and went on to play for Pennsylvania.
