Baseball: Yucaipa has lead over Crespi

Taijuan Walker of Yucaipa has allowed two hits through six innings, with his team ahead of No. 2-seeded Encino Crespi, 3-1, going into the seventh of the Southern Section Division 2 playoff game.

In the City Section Division 1 quarterfinals, San Pedro defeated Arleta, 3-1. Woodland Hills El Camino Real defeated Birmingham, 11-1, in five innings. Ivan Vela hit a three-run home run, Daniel Dungan hit a grand slam and Mitch Bluman allowed two hits.

Chatsworth leads Woodland Hills Taft, 7-5, in the sixth inning.
