Baseball: St. Paul ends Bishop Amat win streak

Santa Fe Springs St. Paul defeated No. 1-ranked La Puente Bishop Amat, 3-2, Wednesday, ending the Lancers' 47-game league winning steak.

Gabe Encinas picked up the victory. St. Paul handed Paul Paez (11-1) his first defeat. Bishop Amat fell to 25-3 overall and 11-1 in the Del Rey League.
