Carson and San Pedro High will raise money for cancer during their Marine League game on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Carson High. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Carson coach Cam Werner established the event two years ago after cancer struck the family of former Colts’ star Christina Schallig. Cancer took the life of Schallig’s aunt, Eileen Ignacio, Ignacio’s sister Lorna and their father Catalino.

Teriyaki burgers will be served at the game for $5 and filet mignon dinners will cost $15.
