Softball: Anaheim Canyon-El Modena game postponed after death of player’s sibling

Anaheim Canyon senior Tayler Van Acker’s brother, Cody, a junior at Canyon, was found dead in the family’s home on Wednesday night, according to the Orange County Register.

Officials at the Orange County coroner’s office said that Cody’s cause of death has not yet been released.

Canyon was scheduled to play El Modena in a highly anticipated Century League matchup on Friday. The coaches of both teams have agreed to postpone the game until later this season.
