Get ready for teacher strike in Orange County

Teachers in the Capistrano Valley Unified School District, which includes six high schools, are expected to go on strike Thursday over a 10.1% pay cut, which means sports events and all extracurricular activities, will be likely canceled and disrupted.

How long the strike lasts, whether it's one day or longer, will certainly have an impact on the sports season if coaches don't show up to coach.

Fire them and replace them with new teachers. There were a lot of young teachers fired from LAUSD last year because they did not have seniority: they're eager and available.
