Football: San Marino hires Mooney as new coach

San Marino has hired its assistant principal, Mike Mooney, as its new football coach. He isn’t just any assistant principal. He was a successful head coach at San Marino and Temple City. He helped as an assistant at San Marino the last two years. Now, if he’s also in charge of hiring and firing the head coach, that’s pressure to produce.
