Former USC and Los Angeles Rams Coach John Robinson is returning to the sideline, this time as a high school coach. Robinson has been hired as the defensive coordinator at San Marcos High in San Diego County.

Robinson last coached in 2004 at UNLV. He turns 75 in July. San Marcos Coach Robert Cendro said Robinson lives in the area, has grandchildren growing up and asked if he needed any help, so he took him up on his offer. He has been helping San Marcos for close to a month.
