Miguel Gonzalez, the football coach at Van Nuys Grant for the last six years, has resigned to spend more time with his family. He guided the Lancers to four playoff berths and a 29-29 overall record.

He will be replaced by Rudy De La Torre, who was offensive coordinator for former Grant Coach Bill Foster and has coached the offensive line. He is a counselor at Grant. Gonzalez will continue to teach at Grant.
