Boys' basketball: Polee visits St. John's

The intrigue grows in the recruiting of Dwayne Polee Jr. of Westchester, the City Section player of the year. He took a visit to St. John's this past weekend. St. John's is coached by former UCLA Coach Steve Lavin.

Polee took a trip to UTEP earlier, which is coached by former USC Coach Tim Floyd. Where's USC and UCLA in the equation?

TIM FLOYD WILL LEAD UTEP BACK TO THE PROMISE LAND. UTEP HAS A LOT OF FOLLOWERS ESPECIALLY HERE IN SO-CAL. GO UTEP AND LONG LIVE THE BEAR!

uhh Polee had already committed to USC but reopened once Floyd was fired.

UNLV FAN

I would love to see Dwayne play at UNLV. We already have several key players of the LA area and would love to have him here. With his special abilities would be ideal with the style of play that Krugar plays (up temp and aggressive man to man D).

You're also away from home, but not to far for family and friend to come watch you play. Also, brand new pratice facilities/weight room/study area coming for Men's basketball.
