Boys’ basketball: All-star game set for Saturday

The High School Academic All-American Game is set for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Azusa Pacific.

Players with strong grade-point averages have been selected for the game. The American all-stars include Richard Solomon and Allen Crabbe from Los Angeles Price and Keala King and Gary Franklin Jr. from Santa Ana Mater Dei.

Kendall Williams from Los Osos, Erik Swoope from North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake and Miles Cartwright from Los Angeles Loyola are among the players on the National all-stars.
