The radar guns will be out at Hueneme on Tuesday, with Jesus Valdez scheduled to pitch against Oxnard in a Pacific View League game between two 6-0 teams.

In the Olympic League, Van Nuys Montclair Prep (13-4, 3-0) gets tested by Whittier Christian (12-5, 2-2) at its home field in Encino.

On Friday, one of the best pitching matchups of the season is set at Diamond Bar, with Glendora’s UCLA-bound Adam Plutko pitching against Cal State Fullerton commit Kenny Mathews of Diamond Bar.

And, if you want to have a doubleheader of fun on Friday, Encino Crespi is playing Mission Hills Alemany at 7 p.m. at Birmingham and Orange Lutheran is facing host Santa Ana Mater Dei at 6 p.m.
