Baseball: Josh Frye throws one-hitter for LB Millikan

When the Southern Section Division I playoffs begin next month, don’t look for many teams to be enthusiastic about drawing Long Beach Millikan in the opening round, because the Rams have one of the best pitchers in Josh Frye, who threw a one-hitter Wednesday to beat Long Beach Wilson, 1-0, in a Moore League game.

Frye also went three for three. He was the Moore League player of the year last season and has signed with Long Beach State. Millikan improved to 1-2 in league.
