Baseball: East Valley League showdown on Tuesday

There’s an East Valley League showdown in baseball coming on Tuesday between Sun Valley Poly (7-7, 2-0) and host Arleta (11-3, 2-0).

Arleta is trying to challenge long-time East Valley power Poly and certainly will be the favorite because it has pitcher Javy Lopez, who’s 4-0 with a 1.29 ERA.

But the Parrots have lots of tradition and toughness. It should be a terrific game.
