Encino Crespi held on for a 7-6 victory over Orange Lutheran in a semifinal game of the Diamond Sports National Classic.

The Celts broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the seventh with four runs, two coming home on a bases-loaded walks and two more on an Alex Gonzalez single.

But Orange Lutheran rallied in the bottom of the seventh, closing to 7-6 on a two-run double by Dillon Bryant. But Scott Heineman was able to get Blake Hugaert to line out to right field with the tying run at second to end the game.

Crespi pitchers walked only three. Orange Lutheran pitchers walked nine. Crespi (14-3) will play Placentia El Dorado in Thursday’s 7 p.m. championship game at Cal State Fullerton. El Dorado defeated Huntington Beach Edison, 2-1.
