Softball: Faster to First Tournament begins Thursday

The third annual Faster to First Tournament begins Thursday and culminates Saturday at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex.

The tournament features 32 of the best teams in the nation, including nine of the top 20 teams in the state: No. 1 Elk Grove Pleasant Grove, No. 2 Etiwanda, No. 3 Vista Murrieta, No. 5 Riverside Poly, No. 6 El Dorado Hills Oak Ridge, No. 7 Anaheim Canyon, No. 10 El Modena, No. 17 Fairfield Rodriguez and No. 19 Ayala.
