Thea Lemberger hit two huge free throws with just under 10 seconds left in overtime to give third-seeded Santa Monica a 59-56 victory over sixth-seeded Canyon Springs in a Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinal on Thursday at Santa Monica.

Lemberger had a game-high 20 points and Moriah Faulk added 17 for Santa Monica (28-6). Tear’a Laudermill led Canyon Springs (27-5) with 17 points and Amber Smith had 14.
