BAKERSFIELD--After being the aggressor early in taking a five-point lead, Harvard-Westlake started missing shots and turning the ball over. Albany St. Mary’s then scored six consecutive points to take a 12-11 lead at the end of the first quarter of the state Division IV championship at Rabobank Arena.

Senior forward Nicole Hung had five points in the first quarter for Harvard-Westlake, which is seeking its first state title.
