Boys' basketball: Taft 66, Leuzinger 63

Bryce Jones connected on a three-pointer at the buzzer, and Taft pulled out a 66-63 victory over Leuzinger.

Leuzinger's Delon Wright made a three-point play with 43 seconds left to cut his team's deficit to 61-58 with 56 seconds left. Chayson Williams later tied the game with 28 seconds left.

Mark Jackson of Taft contributed two key basketballs in the final quarter when the Toreadors were desperate for someone other than De'Andre Daniels or Jones to step up. And Spencer Dinwiddie had an important three-pointer, his first points of the game.
