Boys’ basketball: Polee is City Section player of the year

Dwayne Polee Jr. of Westchester has been selected the City Section player of the year in boys’ basketball by a panel of sportswriters.

The 6-foot-7 Polee led the Comets to the City Section Division I championship. He is the son of former Manual Arts standout Dwayne Polee, who won the same award in 1981.
