It was a quarter of wild momentum swings.

Gardena Serra took a 16-point lead over Compton Centennial in the Southern California Division III championship, then had its advantage trimmed to eight before a late flurry gave the Cavaliers a 48-35 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Steven Archibald hit a three-pointer and Marqise Lee made a layup to close the quarter for Serra. Deonte Burton had a couple of eye-popping moves for Centennial, including a floater and a one-handed shot on a spin move.
