Baseball: Redlands East Valley makes statement

Redlands East Valley has apparently moved past the controversy surrounding ex-player Tyler Shreve and his confrontation with Coach James Cordes, because the Wildcats won the Chino tournament championship on Saturday with a 19-3 win over Chino.

Brad Burcoff of Redlands East Valley was selected the most valuable player. Pitcher Alec Cordova of Chino was named the most valuable pitcher.

Redlands East Valley is 5-0.
