In another Division 1AA semifinal, second-seeded Corona Santiago defeated third-seeded Troy, 56-51, tonight at Corona Centennial High.

‘We lost it at the free throw line,’ said Troy coach Roger Anderson, whose team was 5 for 24 from behind the charity stripe.

Jasmine Lister had 25 points for Corona Santiago (29-2) and Madalene Barrett scored 16 for Troy (26-4).

The winning teams have recently faced off in the playoffs.

Last season Long Beach Poly routed Corona Santiago 60-46 in a quarterfinal match.

The rematch will be next week, and this time the championship is at stake.
