Santa Maria St. Joseph football Coach Mike Hartman, 32, suffered a heart attack Thursday but is resting comfortably at Marian Medical Center after doctors performed an angioplasty and inserted a stent to clear a blocked artery, the Santa Maria Times reported.

Hartman’s teams have won three of the last four Los Padres League championships.
