Boys’ volleyball: Loyola is ranked No. 1 in Division 1

Los Angeles Loyola, the defending champion, has been ranked No. 1 in the preseason Southern Section Division 1 boys’ volleyball rankings.
Manhattan Beach Mira Costa is No. 2, Anaheim Esperanza No. 3 and Bellflower St. John Bosco No. 4. Westlake Village Westlake is No. 1 in Division 2, followed by Simi Valley Royal, Laguna Beach and Thousand Oaks.
