Boys’ basketball: Taft is 7-0 in West Valley

De’Andre Daniels had 18 points and Bryce Jones and Jordan Gathers added 12 apiece in Woodland Hills Taft’s 98-41 West Valley League victory over Chatsworth.
Taft is 18-3 overall and 7-0 in league.
In the Coliseum League, Crenshaw (15-3, 8-0) defeated Manual Arts, 108-26. Isaac Hamilton had 21 points, including six three-pointers, for Crenshaw. Jonathan Doward scored 19 points off the bench.
In the Western League, Hamilton upset University, 49-47, in overtime. David Nwaba had 19 points and 14 rebounds for University (14-11, 4-4), which played without the injured Anthony Harris. Jordan Harris had 12 points for Hamilton (10-11, 4-4).
