Boys' basketball: Taft finishes 10-0 in league

Bryce Jones scored 20 points and DeAndre Daniels added 17 points and 13 rebounds to help Woodland Hills Taft defeat Woodland Hills El Camino Real, 74-56, in a West Valley League finale.

Taft finishes the regular season 21-4 overall and 10-0 in league. El Camino Real is 13-13 and 4-6. Tre Holden scored 34 points for El Camino Real.

In the Western League, Fairfax defeated Hamilton, 60-46. Jordan Weathers scored 22 points for the Lions, who ended up in second place with a 9-3 record.

Westchester finished the Western League unbeaten at 12-0 after a 70-44 win over University. Reggie Murphy had 14 points for the Comets. University (6-6) got 13 points from Anthony Harris.

In a Southern Section nonleague game, Richard Solomon scored 28 points to help L.A. Price defeat Ribet, 63-52.
