Boys' basketball: St. Patrick opens 11-point lead

Kyrie Irving has 19 points and Michael Gilchrist 18 to lead St. Patrick, which holds a 55-44 advantage over Woodland Hills Taft with 3:36 left in the third quarter.

DeAndre Daniels picked up his fourth foul with 4:36 left and went to the bench with Taft behind, 51-42. Bryce Jones has 16 points for Taft.
