Boys’ basketball: Ocean View duo are impressive

Stanford-bound Anthony Brown and teammate Avery Johnson put on a show at the Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei. Brown scored 32 points and had 12 rebounds and Johnson scored 30 points as Huntington Beach Ocean View (22-3), ranked No. 8 by The Times, defeated Orange Lutheran, 83-67.

Johnson said he has a recruiting visit set up for Portland and is also receiving interest from Oregon and Pacific. The two know each other on the court like brothers.

‘I can close my eyes and know where he’s going to be,’ Brown said.
