Boys’ basketball: Mission League goes seven for seven

Don’t anyone ever doubt the quality of teams in the Mission League, because the seven schools that made it to the post season won their playoff openers.

Los Angeles Loyola, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake, Encino Crespi, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, West Hills Chaminade, Mission Hills Alemany and La Canada St. Francis advanced to Friday’s second round.

‘It means the Mission League is stronger than ever,’ Chaminade Coach Todd Wolfson said.
