There might not be a better high school basketball game this season than the nonleague game set for Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Los Angeles Price matching the host Knights (21-2) against La Verne Lutheran (14-7)
Both schools could win Southern Section championships. Price has California-bound guard Allen Crabbe, who has developed into one of the top players in the state.
Lutheran has one of the top sophomores in 6-foot-8 Grant Jerrett.
