Woodland Hills Taft is holding its alumni baseball game on Saturday, and guess who’s going to be playing for the Taft alumni? It’s Reseda Cleveland Coach Greg Venger, who apparently isn’t worried that one of the Taft pitchers might hit him with a pitch.

‘I’m going to get a first-hand scouting report,’ said Venger, who graduated from Taft in 1995.

The question is can Venger still swing a bat?

‘I know I can still hit a baseball,’ he said.

Cleveland players had better make sure their coach doesn’t embarrass himself or the trash talking for the Taft-Cleveland games will be pretty bad.
