Six former UCLA baseball players are scheduled to participate in a panel discussion Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Moorpark College entitled, ‘It’s how you play the game: On and off the field of play.’

The free program begins at 6 p.m. in the Applied Arts Building, with free parking available in Lot F. Parents, high school students and youth league players are encouraged to attend. Panel members will take questions afterward.

The ex-players include Bob Kazmirski, a former minor league pitcher who’s now a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff; Tim Leary, a former Dodger pitcher who endowed a $100,000 scholarship to UCLA; former major leaguer Torey Lovullo, a manager in the minor leagues; former minor league pitcher Mike Magnante, a math teacher at Agoura; Nick Theodorou, who played in the 2004 Olympics for Greece and is associate director of major gifts at UCLA, and Michael Young, a former two-sport athlete who is Chief Revenue Officer for the Dodgers.

All played for former UCLA Coach Gary Adams and will discuss how they were able to give back and share with others.
