Troy coach Roger Anderson has been dealt a tough hand.

Four of his kids are injured, two are down with the flu, and tonight Troy, ranked No. 6 in the Southland by The Times, will play No. 10 Santa Monica at 7 p.m.

Last night the Warriors defeated Buena Park, 48-31, with only six players and without scoring past the 4:31 mark in the fourth quarter.

Anderson said the injuries and the sicknesses would change the team’s game plan tonight against the Vikings’ UCLA-bound Thea Lemberger and Moriah Faulk.

The Warriors will not be able to execute their intense full-court press with only six players.

‘Our biggest question mark will be the health of Madalene Barrett and Gabriella Hanson,’ Anderson said. ‘If we don’t have our two leading rebounders, it could be a long night.’

‘We’re not going to make excuses,’ Anderson said, adding, ‘We’re just going to have to change our style of play.’
