Girls’ basketball: Santa Monica and Bell-Jeff to play tonight

Bell-Jeff (14-4) and Santa Monica (11-4) will play tonight at 7 at Bell-Jeff after raking in impressive wins last night.

Rishonda Napier scored 14 points to lead Bell-Jeff to a 69-53 win over St. Anthony.

And after trailing by two points at the half, Santa Monica defeated Inglewood, 59-51, avenging its December loss to the Sentinels.

Thea Lemberger scored 28 points, converting 16 of her 19 free throw attempts for the Vikings.

Santa Monica clinched the game in the fourth quarter, outscoring Inglewood 22-13.
