Brea Olinda finished its sixth game in nine nights on Saturday in a 61-47 win over Etiwanda.

‘We’re tired and emotionally the win against Mater Dei drained us,’ Brea Olinda coach Jeff Sink said in a video interview with the Orange County Register.

‘We had a lot of games in a very short period of time, and I think it showed a little bit. We were a step slow all night,’ Sink added.

Brea Olinda (18-2) will get some much-needed rest in the next few days. The Ladycats’ next game is against Villa Park (15-4) on Friday at 5:45 p.m.
