Football: St. Genevieve promotes Kenney to head coach

Tim Kenney, a 24-year-old assistant football coach at Panorama City St. Genevieve, has been named the school’s new head coach.

Kenney was a defensive back at Notre Dame and is highly regarded for his motivational skills. Here’s a story about Kenney from his Notre Dame days.

Former Coach Eric Harris, who resigned to pursue further schooling, said of Kenney, ‘He brings a lot of knowledge.’
